Outreach Programme   One of the main objectives of Snorrastofa is to make Reykholt a centre of the dissemination of Icelandic literature and medieval history.  This is done both through research projects and  with new exhibitions with the emphasis on Snorri Sturluson and the medieval time in Reykholt.   The aim is furthermore to make the most of the archaeological remains from them middle ages, in collaboration with the National Museum and other institutions in charge of the excavations in Reykholt.   Open lectures, historic walks and other activity of Snorrastofa will aim at representing the local history of Reykholt from medieval times to the present.
